Recycled iron Briquettes (RiB) have lower production costs than iron ore pellets, reducing the contribution of the raw material cost to DRI production at the DR plants.
Our technology recovers and recycles various by-products and produces a usable on-site product that improves a plant’s overall yield and saves the steel mill substantial amounts. The industry's common practice is to see these by-products occupy valuable land at the steel mill or sell them at a low price to the secondary marketplace. By substituting the much higher-cost pellets with our RiB, we estimate important feedstock savings for your company without sacrificing quality.
